Estados Unidos Mexicanos

Mexico shares coastlines with the Pacific Ocean on the west and the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico in the east. Countries bordering Mexico are the United States in the north, and Belize and Guatemala in the south east. Spanish is spoken officially and there are 66 indigenous languages.

República de Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a Central American country situated on the Isthmus of Panama. The country has coastlines on both, the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It is bordered by Nicaragua in north and Panama in south east. The official language is Spanish.

República de Cuba

Cuba, the largest Caribbean island, is situated in the western West Indies between the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. It is south of Florida and the Bahamas and north of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The official language is Spanish.

República Dominicana

The Dominican Republic shares the Caribbean island of Hispaniola with Haiti. The country borders the Atlantic Ocean to the north, the Caribbean Sea to the south, and Haiti to the east. Caribbean neighbors to Hispaniola island are the Caribbean Turks and Caicos Islands to the north, Puerto Rico to the east, Cuba and Jamaica in the west. The official language is Spanish.

República de El Salvador

El Salvador, the "Land of the Volcanoes", is a mountainous country in western Central America bordering the Pacific Ocean roughly in south, Guatemala in west and Honduras in north. Spoken languages are Spanish (official), and native languages such as Nahuan and Maya.

República de Guatemala

Guatemala, the "Alma de la Tierra" (the soul of the earth), is a largely mountainous country located in Central America bordered by the Pacific Ocean in the south, and has a narrow coastline on the Caribbean Sea. Border countries are Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico. Spoken languages are Spanish (official) and around twenty Mayan languages.

República de Honduras

Honduras is a Central American country occupying a mountainous portion of the land bridge between North and South America. Honduras borders the Caribbean Sea in the north and has a short coastline on the Pacific Ocean. Countries with borders to Honduras are El Salvador, Guatemala, and Nicaragua. The spoken language is Spanish (official).

La República de Chile

Chile occupies a long coastal strip between the Andes mountains and the Pacific Ocean in the south western part of South America. Chile is bordered by Argentina and Bolivia in east, and by a short border with Peru in north. The official language is Spanish.

La República de Colombia

La Republica de Colombia is in northwestern South America with a coastline on both the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans. Colombia is bordered by Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela. Spoken languages are Spanish (official), and there are 68 ethnic languages and dialects.

La República de Paraguay

Paraguay is a landlocked country in central South America. It is bordered on the south and west by Argentina, on the north by Bolivia, and on the east by Brazil. Spoken languages are Spanish (official) and the indigenous Guaraní.

La República del Perú

Peru is in western South America and borders the South Pacific Ocean on the east. Countries that border Peru are Ecuador to the northeast, Colombia to the north, Brazil to the east, Bolivia to the southeast, and Chile to the south.
